I've been working alone in front of a screen for years. Fifteen years of research, five books, and a platform that has been taking shape for months — but always the same thing: me, in a room, building for people I never meet. And then I felt it wasn't enough anymore. That you can't speak about community, encounter, vibration — and stay behind a screen. I had to get out.
So I'm going to Ibiza from May 6th to May 19th, 2026. Not for a retreat, not for an organized event, not to sell anything. Just to be there. To walk on the beach, to have a coffee, to talk with whoever wants to talk. And I'm going with my father. He's 88 years old. We decided to take this trip together, father and son, right at the moment Humans.team steps out of the shadow. It matters to me that it happens now, with him, in that place.
To make sure this isn't just an idea in my head, I created three concrete things on Humans.team. Three anchors. You can click each one, read, join if it resonates.
The first is the meetup. I published an event: Serge in Ibiza, May 6th to 19th, 2026. If you're on the island during those two weeks, or if you want to come on purpose, you can register and we'll meet. No rigid schedule, no conference room, just the wish to share a drink and talk for real.
The second is a contest for music creators. Ibiza is music. For decades, it's where the vibration plays out live. I opened a contest to any creator who wants to submit — you can post up to ten tracks, and the community votes. The goal isn't to please me, it's to give musicians a real place to put what they create.
The third is a job offer. Humans.team is growing, and I need someone who wants to build with me. A full-stack developer, ready to commit for the long run, someone who understands we're not just building an app — we're trying to hold a human promise. I published the listing. If you're that developer, or if you know someone, the page explains everything.
And then there's the fourth door, the one that's open to everyone, with no condition and no sign-up. We now have an Ibiza page on humans.team. On it, there's a full EP, nine tracks, called Ibiza · The Return. I created it while preparing this trip — it's the soundtrack of the moment I'm going through. You can stream everything, download in MP3 or high-quality WAV, remix, share, use it in your own videos. Free. No mandatory credit. No sign-up. Propagate the vibration if it speaks to you — that's all I'm asking.
Why am I giving all of this? Because the solitary part of this project is ending. I understood that what I'm building makes no sense if no one lives it, no one touches it, no one meets it. Humans.team isn't an app in a browser — it's the idea that we can take care of our own happiness, then share it with those who cross our path. Ibiza is the first place where I step out of my home to do it, for real, with my own feet.
If you come, we'll meet. If you enter the contest, I'll listen. If you're the developer, we'll talk. If you just pass by to listen to the music and leave — that's perfect too. The four doors are open. Pick the one that suits you.
See you soon.
