Three days, fifteen commits, one real payment

60-Day Programme — Day 21~1 min read
Trois jours, quinze commits, un premier paiement réel
Day 3, and I have to admit it: I'm on fire. Fifteen commits today. My most intense day so far. We've shifted from "it works" to "it actually works in production." I started with Stripe. No more hardcoded configurations—everything now comes from the database. Real Stripe fees calculated, the 90/10 split on net proceeds, locale adapted to the user's language. Every detail matters. User management occupied me next. Secure account deletion, complete GDPR anonymization, email confirmation with automatic cleanup after seven days. This invisible work is what makes a platform trustworthy. Then reality hit me. Next.js 16 middleware rebelled against the proxy. I had to rewrite everything. The Vercel cache refused to refresh. By 21h, finally stable. But the key moment? That first successful test payment on Stripe. Watching the money arrive, commissions calculate, user status update—it's magical. The business model becomes tangible. On Humans.team, I'm learning that production is merciless. Every untested assumption explodes. GDPR teaches me the balancing act: anonymize without losing aggregate statistics. I'm taking away one lesson: with a cutting-edge framework, you have to be ready to improvise. And from today on, I'm testing with a *production mindset*.
